7. Literacy Awards:

  1. Jnapith Award is being given for the best creative literacy writing by any indian citizen in any of the language included in the VII Schedule of the Indian Constitution. Recent most awardee are writers: Sanskrit scholar jagadguru Rambhadracharya and Urdu poet and lyricist Gulzar for 2023.
  2. Vyas Samman (2015): For literary in the Hindi language. Awarded by K.K. Birla Foundation.

    Pushpa Bharati, for book ‘Yaadein Yaadein!. Aur Yaadein’ (2023)
  3. Saraswati Samman: For outstanding prose or poetry literary works in any Indian language listed in Schedule VIII of the Constitution of India. Awarded by K. K. Birla Foundation.

8. Gallantary Awards:

  1. PARAM VIR CHAKRA : Highest decoration Awarded for the most conspicuous bravery or some daring or prominent act of valour or self-sacrifice in the presence of the enemy on land, sea or air.
  2. MAHA VIR CHAKRA : Second highest decoration. It is awarded for acts of conspicuous gallantry in the presence of the enemy, whether on land, at sea or in the air.
  3. VIR CHAKRA : It is the third in the order of awards for acts of gallantry in the face of the enemy on land, sea or air.
  4. ASHOK CHAKRA: Awarded for the most conspicuous bravery or some daring act of valour or self-sacrifice on land, at sea or in the air.
