Q.1 ) The magnetic susceptibility of the material of a rod is 349 and permeability of vacuum μ0​ is 4π ×10–7 SI units .Absolute permeability of the material of the rod in SI units

Solutions :

The relative permeability μR = 1 + χ
Absolute permeability μ = μRμ0 = μ0(1+ χ )
= 4π × 10–7 [1 + 349]
= 350 × 4 × 3.142 × 10–7
= 4400 × 10–7 SI units

Q.2 ) The magnetic flux through a coil of resistance ‘R’ changes by an amount ‘Δϕ‘ in time ‘Δt’. The total quantity of induced electric charge ‘Q’ is
